Manager in Training Program (MIT)

At DriveTime, people who demonstrate passion, dedication, talent, and drive are given both the opportunity and the training required to build themselves a career in management within the company. That’s why we’ve designed our own Management in Training program.

Our 12-week paid Manager in Training program is designed to train new and existing employees to become either a sales manager or a loan manager at DriveTime.

Each manager trainee is assigned to a dealership where he or she receives DriveTime-specific management training materials and works directly with a general manager or loan manager. The manager acts as a mentor and provides the trainee with hands-on experience within every operating unit at DriveTime, from Finance, to HR, to Inventory, to Auctions. When someone completes the Manager in Training program, he or she becomes either a sales manager or a loan manager who is fully equipped with the skills and knowledge needed to successfully build, motivate, and manage a team at DriveTime.
