DriveTime, an automobile sales and finance company headquartered in Phoenix, Arizona, has been nominated as one of the Best Places to Work 2005 in Orlando, Florida. DriveTime was rated second out of all the nominees in the large companies category (150-300 employees) and was the only dealership and finance company in any of the categories to receive a score above 80. This is the second Best Places to Work award for DriveTime in the last six months. DriveTime was also nominated in the large company category in Maricopa County, Arizona.
As part of the nomination process, the Orlando Business Journal distributes anonymous surveys to all employees at the company. In the comments section of the survey, one DriveTime employee stated, "The work atmosphere is fun and relaxed. I will recommend DriveTime to anybody looking to work for an employee-friendly company."
