Phoenix – DriveTime, the largest integrated used car sales and finance company in the country, is expanding in Jacksonville. The company will open its second dealership on 10384 Atlantic Blvd. in Jacksonville on January 24. DriveTime spent $350,000 in building costs and site improvements for the new location.
"We just opened our first Jacksonville location in November," says Jon Ehlinger, DriveTime spokesperson. "We've been pleased with success of that location so far and we're excited about continuing to grow and expand to other locations across Jacksonville."
The new store on Atlantic Blvd. will be DriveTime's 18th location in Florida, including nine dealerships in Orlando, seven in Tampa, and one on Blanding Blvd. in Jacksonville. DriveTime plans to open two more dealerships and an inspection center in Jacksonville later this year.
