DriveTime, the largest used car sales and finance company in the country serving people with credit problems, announced it will add more stores to its growing line-up of locations in North Carolina.
A new dealership, located at 788 Concord Parkway North in Concord, North Carolina is expected to open October 24. DriveTime moved into Charlotte in August with two dealerships and a regional inspection center. The company plans to open at least two more stores in the area early next year.
“We opened very strong in Charlotte; in fact it was one of our most successful new regions,” says Jon Ehlinger, spokesperson for the Phoenix-based company. “We’re also very excited about our first SchoolTime partner in North Carolina, the Walter G. Byers Elementary School. We’re looking forward to continuing these successes in other parts of the state.” In addition to Charlotte, DriveTime plans to move into the Greensboro area with the first of several planned stores expected to open in the coming months.
