The DriveCare Protection Plan is a service plan that extends coverage on your vehicle for up to 5 years / 50,000 miles (3 years / 36,000 miles in some states) and covers components of your engine, transmission, drive axles and climate control systems. See your local DriveTime dealership for details.
For a covered repair, you only pay your deductible. If the repair is not covered under your vehicle protection plan, you are responsible for all diagnostic and repair charges.
We offer rental reimbursement up to $25.99 for covered issues for every 8 hours of labor time required to complete the repair, and up to 5 days per issue.
You can cancel the vehicle protection plan by submitting a Cancellation Request Form. To obtain the form and for further assistance, contact SilverRock at 877-584-3848. Please note, if your Vehicle Service Contract purchase price was included in your vehicle financing, the refund will be sent to the lienholder to be deducted from the principle of your loan and may not lower your monthly payment.
Some vehicles have remaining manufacturer warranty but it may expire while you still own the vehicle. Purchasing the DriveCare Protection Plan may provide additional coverage after the manufacturer’s warranty has expired.
In the event of a breakdown, visit our website SR-Repairs for further instructions and to locate an in-network repair facility. The repair facility must obtain authorization from SilverRock prior to beginning any covered repair. For further assistance contact SilverRock at 877-584-3848.
See the above “Component Coverage” section of this page for covered items. For a detailed list of covered items, please refer to your DriveCare Protection Plan documents provided to you at time of purchase or call us at 877-584-3848.
There are a few things that may void your DriveCare Protection Plan, for example failure to maintain your vehicle per the manufacturer’s recommended maintenance schedule, modifying your vehicle by adding performance or styling parts, using your vehicle for commercial purposes, or a failed odometer that is not repaired. Please see your contract for complete details.
